Overview

In this release, we focused on system security, user privacy, and admin control enhancements in the Eğitim365 platform. The key changes include:

  • Improved permission management for better admin control
  • Data masking in reports to protect sensitive user information
  • Secured access to integration tools and settings
  • Fixes to enhance platform stability and user experience

Improvements and fixes

Fixes

We made these updates:

  • Added permission restrictions and alerts during user simulations to prevent unauthorized actions, such as sending personal messages, editing profiles, and accessing exams. Simulations are now secure and free from unintended interactions.
  • Added a Username column to the learner list on the Assignment Grading screen. Users can now search by User ID, Username, or Full name.
  • Restricted access to SYNC tools to users with the Super Admin role. A new Synchronization Settings section in the ALMS V3 admin panel allows Super Admins to manage and configure SYNC tool URLs, which enhances system security by preventing unauthorized access.
  • Limited Super Admin role assignment to existing Super Admins only. Admin users can no longer assign this role, which improves role-based access control.
  • Removed email addresses and national ID numbers from exam reports, virtual classroom reports, and in-course activity reports to enhance student privacy.
  • Removed the Email column from the user list. On the user edit screen, emails are now masked and temporarily viewable via the Show button, accessible only to Admin and Super Admin users. Search and other functionalities remain unaffected.
  • Removed personal data, such as email addresses and ID numbers, from all system reports, including both on-screen views and exported files, to meet data privacy compliance. Reporting performance and functionality remain unchanged.

Improvements

We resolved the following issues:

  • Fixed a login failure in the OIS and K365 mobile app caused by a token-related problem. Users can now log in successfully.
  • Resolved an issue preventing redirection to ALMS when clicking Go to ALMS from the institution’s OIS system.
  • Fixed a bug in the Messages module where the chat list scrolled upward unexpectedly. Messages now remain properly fixed in the chat view.
