Creating video components with Vimeo

Constructor Learn supports synchronizing videos stored in an external folder in Vimeo and videos stored in your Vimeo content libraries in Learn. The API (application programming interface) connection between Learn and Vimeo to transfer videos from a Vimeo folder is configured by Learn administrators.

As a content author, you can add videos to Learn in either of these ways:

Add a new video to the folder in your Vimeo account that corresponds to the Vimeo library in LMS. This video will also be added to the Vimeo Learn library through API.
Add a video right in Learn, this video will also be added to the Vimeo folder through API.

After you added a video, you can either insert it into a course as a part of this course or use it as a standalone activity (in this case you need to publish the video).

Note: Only videos inserted in a composition allow for tracking learners' progress in watching them through Reports.
