Secure Browser is a standalone application for Windows and macOS that locks down your computer during exams by blocking other websites, shortcuts, and apps, ensuring a secure and cheat-free testing environment. If your exam requires Secure Browser, you’ll be asked to install it when you start your first exam (usually a trial exam).
Note: Currently, Secure Browser can be installed only in the exam preparation wizard, during the setup steps after you start your exam.
For both Windows and macOS, installing Secure Browser requires either administrator permissions or administrator account credentials. This ensures system security and prevents unauthorized changes to your device.
These security measures ensure that only authorized users can install software, preserving your system's integrity. If you need assistance with installation, contact your IT department or the administrator managing your device permissions.
