Overview

In Release 55, we've introduced a number of new features and improvements to the existing ones:

• Text files editing in File Manager
• Extended runtime environment menu
• Changes to the default timeout for running environment

What's new

Text files editing in File Manager

Users can now edit text and code files directly in the File Manager without needing to switch to VS Code and losing the context. This enables users to implement changes more quickly.

Extended runtime environment menu in Desk

The context menu for the runtime environment in the Desk was extended to include RAM usage and idle time.

Changes to the default timeout for running environment

The default idle timeout for stopping the running environment is reduced from 96 to 12 hours to optimize compute resource usage.
