What's new

Creating and updating publications from the desk

Users can now create or update publications directly from any notebook within the desk. This eliminates previous limitations associated with Git. Publishing a file can be initiated from the Publications page or directly from the file manager. In the latter case, a file can be published with a single click while viewing it. Updating existing publications follows the same straightforward process as creating new ones.

Publications now display the path to the source file. By clicking the path, users can quickly access the source file in the desk’s File viewer.

These improvements optimize the user’s workflow, and provide flexibility and convenience for effortless publication management from notebooks.

Enhanced storage settings for the desk

Now, while creating their work desks, users can extend the default storage size of 10 GB to up to 2TB. When working in the desk, users can also increase the storage volume as needed. For running environments, such changes are applied after the next restart.

This enhancement allows researchers to flexibly manage the provisioned storage capacity.

Image files preview in the desk

Now users can preview image files when selecting them through the interface of the file manager. The image is displayed for each supported image file format (JPG, PNG, and so on). It allows users to quickly identify image files in projects, especially when working with CV-related datasets.

Keeping the latest desk state

When a user switches between VS Code and the project explorer, the last used desk component persists: the file manager with an opened file, workflow, or publication. It simplifies switching between different platform views without losing the context.

Fixed issues

  • Environments with GPUs sometimes got the Evicted status and stopped after 15–20 minutes after the start.
  • The desk status remained unchanged after startup for large desks, and the desk was displayed as running.

Known issues

Publications cannot be created or updated.
