Overview

In Release 2, we’ve implemented the following feature:

• Sensitivities for short answer question types

Sensitivities for short answer question types

Now authors can toggle case-sensitivity for short-form questions. We added 3 separate settings when controlling the sensitivity level for Short-Form open text questions:

• Whitespace Sensitivity (when off) - Automatically removing spaces at the beginning and end of the answer or removing multiple spaces between words
• Case Sensitivity (when off) - The system will recognize the correct answer regardless of capitalization
• Special characters sensitivity (when off) - The system treats the answer as correct regarding of special characters (e.g. ä=a, ö=o, ü=u, ß=b)
