Conference Assistant knowledge model

Conference Assistant is a knowledge model designed for use on conference websites to help participants easily access key information and plan their experience. It enables a chatbot that can answer questions about all aspects of a conference, making it easier for attendees to stay informed and organized.

Attendees can find the details on:

• Conference program details (topics, speakers, locations)
• Schedule and program (presentations, coffee breaks, dates)
• Poster sessions
• Sponsors and exhibitors

The chatbot is configured using tables with conference-related information, which serve as the model’s primary data sources. Files with over 1,000 rows are supported and can be updated or replaced without rewriting their descriptions.

If needed information isn’t found in the provided files, the assistant can use web search and other tools as secondary sources.

The following settings can be customized in Conference Assistant:

• Timezone Configuration — sets the conference timezone using GMT-based options.
• Web Search Sites — specifies which conference-related websites the assistant can search for accurate answers.
• Conference Details — adds the conference name and description to tailor the assistant’s responses.
• Safety Filter Settings — defines allowed and restricted topics to ensure safe and appropriate interactions.
