Adding theoretical content
To add text content (sections of your lab intended solely for reading):
- In the lab window, go to the CODE interface.
- Click the content folder to open it.
- In the ribbon, click the New File icon.
- Name a new .md file to reflect the topic. Add the file content.
- Repeat steps 3–4 to add all .md files with reading content.
| Information | If you need to insert images in an .md file, refer in Adding images to .md files. |
- Use the Copy Relative Path command of the context menu to copy the path to each added .md file.
- Open the SUMMARY.md file.
- In the lab .md files list, specify the paths to the added files. The order must correspond to the order in which sections should be displayed to learners when they pass the lab.
- Click Save.
| Warning | IMPORTANT: All .md files (apart from {exercise_name}_instructions.md) must be stored in the content folder. If this order is violated, this results in the lab malfunction. |
If you need to add images to illustrate the theoretical material, see Adding images to .md files.
