Overview
In this release, we’ve implemented the following features:
- Safari browser support
- Updated face detection model
What’s new
Safari browser support
We’ve added support for the Proctor student web application on Safari (in addition to Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge). Safari now supports all proctoring modes and configuration settings.
Please note that Safari has some technical limitations that prevent certain features from being fully supported (for example, blocking additional screens). To prevent these limitations from being exploited for cheating, permission to use Safari is set separately for each application. To enable Safari support for your learners, please contact support.
Updated face detection model
We’ve updated the face detection model to identify faces, missing faces, or multiple faces in a frame more accurately. The new model reduces false positives and improves overall detection reliability.
Other changes
We've updated DE translations for chat messages in the live proctor interface.
Known bugs fixed
- Video tile from the second camera is stretched in the live proctor interface.
- Onboarding time is now calculated correctly in reports.
- Waiting time is now calculated correctly in reports.
- Technical issues no longer appear as confirmed in reports.
