Changing branches for Desktop

If you need to specify another repository branch for working in a project Desk, you can change the branch using the VS Code extension.

An alternative branch is specified only for the project Desktop. After changing the branch for Desktop, the branch for the project workflows remains as it was set originally.

Synchronizing data in the local and remote branches

After you made changes in your new working branch in My Desk, merge the changes to the original branch of the project:

1. In My Desk of the project, go to the Source Contro****l tab.
2. In the project context menu, click the sychronize changes icon.
3. In the Branches drop-down, select the branch with which you want to synchonize the My Desk branch.
4. Click Sync Changes.
