Enrolling learners for courses

As a course instructor, you can enroll for your courses individual learners, learner groups, or organization units to whom you teach.

You can enroll learners (or groups, or units) in courses in these two ways:

Make a course mandatory; in this case the course is added to the list of courses assigned to learners and they are required to complete it.
Make a course optional; in this case the course is added to the catalog of available courses and learners can enroll themselves in it and take the course if they want to.


Information	If the same user has several types of enrollment in the same course, the priority for the execution of enrollment rules is as follows (starting from the highest priority): 1. Personal (user) enrollment 2. Group enrollment 3. Organizational unit enrollment If the same user has multiple enrollments in the same course within a group or organizational unit, you can manually set the priority for each enrollment instance.
