Taking proctored quizzes (exams)
A quiz you take may be proctored. Typically, proctored quizzes are exams.
One of the following proctoring modes can be applied to the quiz or exam you take:
- Live review — you take your exam at a scheduled time, and the exam video is transmitted to a proctor who checks it in real-time.
- Post-exam review — you take your exam at any time before the due date (or at a scheduled time — depending on the exam's settings), the video is recorded, and later the recording is proctored by a proctor asynchronously.
- AI review — you take your exam at any time before the due date (or at a scheduled time — depending on the exam's settings), the video is recorded, the resulting score is generated based on violations marked by AI without a human proctor’s participation.
There are two ways to access proctored exams:
Web access through the Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browsers. For the details about how to take such exams, see:
Desktop application access through the Secure Browser application that you need to install onto your device beforehand. See:
