Using rooms for online meeting
Rooms provide participants with a simplified and convenient way to access a virtual space for online meetings.
Unlike scheduled sessions , rooms have the following features:
- They do not have a scheduled time of the start and end, and can be accessed at any time.
- Any participant who has a link to a room can immediately enter the room (not just the host). They do not have to wait until the host enters a room.
- By default, all participants have the Presenter role. So, anyone can share their screen or documents without needing the host to allow them to do this.
- All the outputs of a room are saved separately: each session held within a room has its own time-bounded output (a video recording, chat, files shared, and so on).
You can invite participants in either of these ways:
- As users registered in Constructor Learning Platform — in this case participants need to enter their account credentials.
- As guests — in this case participants don't have to enter any credentials and can access the room without a password.
