Release 102

Overview ​

In Release 102, we focused primarily on under-the-hood tasks to enable the messaging hub. Additionally, we implemented several fixes and improvements to enhance user experience and worked on the implementation of the Communication Hub for class announcements.

Improvements ​

In this release, we implemented the following improvements:

  • Introduced full-screen view and scrolls for embedded tables in media blocks.
  • Added the display of attachment file sizes in media blocks.

Fixes ​

  • We’ve fixed an issue with editing custom report views that could affect other reports.
  • It’s now possible to finish an activity with a draft “optional” activity.
  • When the course's maximum score was reached, the course wouldn't finish, and the Finish the course popup would appear. We removed the popup and introduced a toast notification on the 'About the course' page saying, “The course was finished”.
  • The Primary report doesn’t show the “payment required” notification anymore.
  • The score is now displayed in the standard “Course finished” email notifications for learners.
  • Grades are no longer shown in email notifications unless a grading scale is applied to the course.
  • We’ve fixed an issue when TOC was shown for one-page compositions if the tile view was selected.
  • Now instructors can filter activities by type in the scheduler.
  • We've fixed an issue with the scheduler not accepting any values after encountering validation errors.
  • The process of uploading Vimeo videos has been improved. Now, the content is displayed once the upload process is complete.
  • We've introduced a Cancel button on the video re-upload screen that allows users to return to the video properties.
  • The certificate builder can now accept large images.
  • The Reset button now works correctly on the report creation page.
  • Now if a user changes SCORMs display mode to “embedded”, the Maximize/Minimize option is enabled by default.
  • The correct score is displayed in the course properties and popups when any attempts are revoked.
  • If a file is inserted into the About the course page, its size is displayed correctly.

Known issues ​

  • Sizes of attached files are shown only for newly-uploaded files.
  • A new toggle cannot be created within a toggle.
  • New members cannot be added to a newly created team without refreshing the screen.
  • The date and time selector sometimes does not fit on the screen in Reports.
  • When signing out from Avatar, a user is not signed out from LMS.
  • External links to cover images cannot be edited.
  • SCORMs cannot be archived.
  • Error 401 occurs after an upload of a SCORM package is canceled and the second upload attempt is initiated. The page refresh is necessary to initiate the upload.
  • Settings applied to a specific SCORM version are not appropriately distinguished.
  • The “Not found” text is displayed when a learner attempts to start a quiz with a due date in the past.
  • The Customize Default View setting does not apply to the Collections filter.
