Overview

In this release, we continued work on several key initiatives aimed at improving functionality and user experience across the platform. These include:

  • Enhanced control of AI Tutor behavior for selected courses
  • Improved filtering through catalog categories
  • Support for course and program retakes
  • Ongoing development of a new media block editor
  • Fixes to improve the accuracy and reliability of certificate generation

What's new

Custom Catalog filters for courses

Instructors can now assign custom category attributes to courses. Learners can use these attributes to filter courses in My Courses, Catalog, and Open Catalog views, which makes it easier for them to find relevant content and personalize their experience.

Improvements and fixes

Fixes

We've made the following fixes:

  • The certificate service now issues certificates asynchronously, using the course completion date and time as the official issuance timestamp.
  • Administrators can now successfully create new domains and topics in new tenants.
  • Activity visibility now remains consistent after a course is edited and saved.
  • The Open Catalog page loads correctly without errors.
  • Team switcher functionality is fixed; users can now switch teams successfully.
  • LTI activities now launch without errors or infinite loading issues.

Known issues

  • Some translations are missing in the instructor interface.
  • For assignments with Show answers when score is reached and Allow review, the score is not displayed, though feedback appears.
  • Grace period settings are not applied within nested child compositions.
  • File sizes are displayed only for newly uploaded attachments.
  • Nested toggles (a toggle within a toggle) are not supported.
  • New team members require a screen refresh to appear.
  • Date and time selectors may overflow in Reports.
  • Logging out via the avatar does not fully log the user out of the LMS.
  • External cover image links are not editable.
  • Canceling and retrying a SCORM upload may cause a 401 error; a page refresh is required.
  • SCORM version-specific settings are not clearly distinguished.
  • Learners may see a “Not found” error when starting a quiz past its due date.
  • The Customize Default View setting does not affect the Collections filter.
  • Saving a default view does not work when creating a new custom report.
