Release 115

Overview

In Release 115, we’ve introduced these new features:

• Anonymous surveys to collect users’ feedback without revealing their identities.
• Dashboards for learner which includes new widgets for Recent courses and assignments, helping learners stay organized and informed.

We've also enhanced our Salesforce (SFDC) synchronization service and were working on the feature for instructors to adjust learner scores and points for specific assignments which will become available in next releases.

What's new

Anonymous surveys

Instructors can now make surveys anonymous in the survey settings, ensuring all personal details are masked in the survey results reports. Anonymous surveys cannot be reviewed from the gradebook or assessment.

New learner dashboard with widgets

We’ve introduced a new dashboard for learners featuring two widgets: Recent courses and Assignments. The Recent courses widget displays a list of recently accessed courses sorted by last access time. The Assignments widget shows pending assignments from courses the learner is enrolled in, indicating overdue activities. Learners can easily focus on what's due and access assignments directly from their homepage.

Improvements and fixes

Improvements

We’ve made the following improvements:

• Added a new attribute, activity type, to the content libraries to display the type of activity within a course.
• Renamed the chat window to “Communications hub”.
• Introduced a new option in tenant settings for tenants using custom domains. The option enables displaying on the login screen the information on how to obtain a support link.

Fixes

We've made the following fixes:

• The correct score for the learner is now displayed in the “Finish the course” notification.
• Content in child compositions can no longer be accessed if restrictions are imposed on the parent composition.
• Gates from archived compositions no longer affect the ability to access subsequent activities.
• The gallery component is now functioning correctly in the Safari browser.
• The issue preventing link insertion in the Safari browser is fixed.
• The gallery component was added to the Discussions prompt editor.
• Restrictions for displaying Vimeo videos are now applied correctly.
• Archived users no longer appear in the list of available users for mini-groups management in class splits for objectives.
• Non-gradable activities are no longer displayed in compositions if Grace period until is set for those activities and the date is in the past.
• Fractional values of course results are now rounded to whole numbers.
• When users search for a course, the search now includes all collections, even when specific collections are selected. The collection list is no longer hidden.
• Learners are now displayed in the mini-group for class splits immediately after being added, without the need for a page refresh.
• Transparent images are now rendered correctly in Media blocks.

Known issues

• Sizes of attached files are shown only for newly-uploaded files.
• A new toggle cannot be created within a toggle.
• New members cannot be added to a newly created team without refreshing the screen.
• The date and time selector sometimes does not fit on the screen in Reports.
• When signing out from Avatar, a user is not signed out from LMS.
• External links to cover images cannot be edited.
• Error 401 occurs after an upload of a SCORM package is canceled and the second upload attempt is initiated. The page refresh is necessary to initiate the upload.
• Settings applied for a specific SCORM version are not appropriately distinguished.
• The “Not found” text is displayed when a learner attempts to start a quiz with a due date in the past.
• The Customize Default View setting does not apply to the Collections filter.
• Saving the default view doesn’t work when creating a new custom report.
