Overview

This release includes several enhancements aimed at improving system performance and user experience. We’ve optimized backend processes for faster response times, refined the objective assessment workflow, and updated the composition editor. Additionally, we’ve made progress toward automated Knowledge Model creation for objectives to enable users to interact with the AI tutor on course content in future updates.

Improvements and fixes

Improvements

The following updates bring greater efficiency and flexibility for instructors and authors:

• Gradebook: Instructors can now access the Gradebook for a specific course directly from the objectives UI. This enhancement filters assessments related to the course, making it quicker and easier to manage assessments.
• Composition editor: Authors can now configure content flow settings for individual items directly in the right pane of the composition editor, without having to open separate interfaces.
• Composition editor: Media blocks now include the option to set gates, allowing authors to lock subsequent items for learners until the media block is completed.

Fixes

We have addressed the following issues:

• Enabled authors to set the passing score percentage for SCORMs in the content flow.
• Resolved an issue preventing quizzes from opening in the composition editor when the Content Library contained more than 2000 quizzes.
• Fixed issues related to Credly badge generation.
• Increased memory limits to prevent 500 errors in the management portal.
• Corrected completion status reporting for all Vimeo videos when learners are enrolled in objectives with specified terms.
• Ensured imported courses can now be retaken correctly.
• Improved reporting performance.
• Enabled learners to continue courses across different course instances without issues.
• Imported courses can now be retaken correctly.
• Ensured courses are removed from My Courses after enrollment deletion, while still appearing as Started in the Catalog.
• Fixed reporting issues for completion status in LTI activities and Vimeo videos.
• Fixed issues with collaborative activities not opening if another user had already started them.
• Fixed the Gradebook link visibility for users with administrative permissions.
• Resolved an issue preventing imported courses from being started after self-enrollment.
• Fixed access issues with attached files in courses.
• Addressed issues with opening certain proctored quizzes.
• Corrected text alignment in the mobile view of the About the Course page.
• Made the team selector visible when adding content to new objectives to clarify team ownership.
• Set the default passing score for surveys in content flow management to "0."
• Updated the Reset to Default Values option in content flow management to require selecting Save for changes to apply.
• Ensured the browser tab displays the course name when the About the Course page is opened.
• Added validation for the Attempts value in the composition editor flow control settings to prevent using "0" and support values greater than 100.
• Fixed the gallery preview to correctly display cropped images.
• Ensured collections associated with courses are visible in the Catalog and My Courses when access is granted via the Enroll All option.
• Fixed the right panel in the composition editor to close automatically when an activity is deleted from the left panel.
• Resolved issues that caused certain courses to open infinitely.
• Corrected media block status updates so they reflect accurately in the table of contents upon completion.

Known issues

• When instructors select Show answers when score is reached and Allow review for an assignment, the score is not shown, but the quiz feedback is.
• The grace period is not applied to child compositions within other child compositions.
• Sizes of attached files are shown only for newly-uploaded files.
• A new toggle cannot be created within a toggle.
• New members cannot be added to a newly created team without refreshing the screen.
• The date and time selector sometimes does not fit on the screen in Reports.
• When signing out from Avatar, a user is not signed out from LMS.
• External links to cover images cannot be edited.
• Error 401 occurs after an upload of a SCORM package is canceled and the second upload attempt is initiated. The page refresh is necessary to initiate the upload.
• Settings applied for a specific SCORM version are not appropriately distinguished.
• The "Not found" text is displayed when a learner attempts to start a quiz with a due date in the past.
• The Customize Default View setting does not apply to the Collections filter.
• Saving the default view doesn't work when creating a new custom report.
