Adding instructors to courses

If you have permissions to manage other instructors, you can assign instructors to courses, unassign instructors from courses, or view instructors assigned to courses. If you don't have those permissions, an authorized instructor will assign you to courses you are responsible for.

To assign instructors to a course:

1. In the Learn management portal, click in the upper-left corner.
2. Go to Teaching > Courses.
   
3. In the courses list, double-click the required course to start editing.
4. In the leftmost bar, click the Instructors icon.
   
5. Click Add instructors (or click +).
6. Select the instructors in the list and click Add. Instructors will be assigned to the course.

When an instructor is assigned to a course, a corresponding channel is created in the Communication Hub. The channel identifier is formed using the course's unique code and name in the following format: {objective_code}_{objective_name}_**Announcements. For example, 5678900000_Example_composition_Announcements.
