Logging in as learners (impersonating)

You may need to help some of your learners to navigate in Learn or with other tasks related to online courses. To do it, you can log in to Learn under a specific learner (impersonate the learner) to see their interface and perform some actions on their behalf. All such actions will be logged with the administrator action tag.

Note: For security reasons, this functionality is available only on-demand and for specific users. Please contact your Constructor representative for more details.

To impersonate a learner:

1. In the Learn management portal, click in the upper-left corner.
2. Go to Users and groups > Users.
3. Find the required user and click  in their record to call the menu.
4. Click View as this user.
   
5. In the confirmation pop-up, click Start impersonating. You will be logged in to the learner's account view with the notification at the bottom of the screen.
   
6. After making the necessary actions, click the sign-out icon to stop impersonating and sign out from Learn.
7. In the pop-up that opens, click Sign out to confirm the action.
