Release 109

Overview

In Release 109, we introduced a new feature that allows users to share a link to a course with other users:

• Course link for sharing

We've also made improvements to how we manage time constraints for activities to ensure that learners cannot start activities beyond the allowed time periods. We’ve continued our work on implementing the following features which will be completed in our upcoming releases:

• Splitting classes into smaller groups for collaborative activities
• Revealing scores for learner management
• Enhancing group discussions

What's new

Course link for sharing

Now learners can copy a link to a course directly from the About the course page in the catalog or from My courses. This feature allows learners to recommend and share courses with colleagues and teammates, enabling others to self-enroll or start the course if they are already enrolled.

Improvements and fixes

Improvements

• We have improved the display of information on activity widgets in courses. Now the current status and results of completed activities are clearly visible.
• We have added an option to enable or disable the feedback collection widget for selected tenants.

Fixes

We've implemented the following fixes:

• Duration can now be edited in activity properties. For SCORM activities, recommended values are imported only when a new SCORM file is uploaded or modified.
• Feedback collection form is no longer cut off and can be used if moved to a different location on the screen.
• Image rotation issue in the certificate editor has been fixed.
• Issues with access to the gradebook, creating new compositions and following the link to a shared course are fixed.
• Vimeo library now correctly handles adding new videos.
• Filtering courses by status now works correctly.
• The best attempt is now shown when reviewing attempts. The last and other attempts are available from the list of attempts.
• Activities in the Gradebook are now sorted in the order they appear in the composition, not alphabetically.
• Validation message is added for SCORM uploads if the SCORM file is incorrect. When updated, the message correctly informs learners.

Known issues

• Sizes of attached files are shown only for newly-uploaded files.
• A new toggle cannot be created within a toggle.
• New members cannot be added to a newly created team without refreshing the screen.
• The date and time selector sometimes does not fit on the screen in Reports.
• When signing out from Avatar, a user is not signed out from LMS.
• External links to cover images cannot be edited.
• Error 401 occurs after an upload of a SCORM package is canceled and the second upload attempt is initiated. The page refresh is necessary to initiate the upload.
• Settings applied for a specific SCORM version are not appropriately distinguished.
• The “Not found” text is displayed when a learner attempts to start a quiz with a due date in the past.
• The Customize Default View setting does not apply to the Collections filter.
• Saving the default view doesn’t work when creating a new custom report.
