Overview

In this release, we’ve continued preparing for future AI-driven features, including enhancements to the student chat. We’ve also advanced the development of promotional banner delivery on learner dashboards. Additionally, we’ve streamlined the process for creating objectives and adding content, offering greater flexibility for instructors and content creators.

What's new

Objective creation made easier

We’ve introduced a simplified process for creating objectives:

• Create from scratch option: Creates a new objective with a blank composition, where users can add new or existing content elements.
• Automatic team creation: If users are not part of a team, one is created automatically, so they can start adding content immediately.
• Use of Content library: Users with library access can quickly create objectives by selecting existing content elements.
• Customizable settings: Users can configure the About page, grading options, certificates, scheduling, and class splits as before.
• More flexibility: It is possible to publish a single content element as multiple objectives to support varied learning paths.

Improvements and fixes

Fixes

We’ve made the following fixes:

• Corrected the unenrollment process for users removed from an enrollment unit after being added to a class split.
• Fixed an issue where some collaborative activities were incorrectly started as personal.
• Resolved display issues with learner widgets in mobile view.
• Addressed a problem with the inactive Transfer to another team option for some users.
• Fixed an issue where Allow review in result visibility allowed review of child items when it shouldn’t.
• Updated the downloadable survey report file name to include the word "survey."
• Prevented the Improve result option from appearing for modules that were never started.
• Improved the WYSIWYG editor for media blocks to ensure the editor view matches what learners will see.

Known issues

• When instructors select Show answers when score is reached and Allow review for an assignment, the score is not shown, but the quiz feedback is.
• The grace period is not applied to child compositions within other child compositions.
• Sizes of attached files are shown only for newly-uploaded files.
• A new toggle cannot be created within a toggle.
• New members cannot be added to a newly created team without refreshing the screen.
• The date and time selector sometimes does not fit on the screen in Reports.
• When signing out from Avatar, a user is not signed out from LMS.
• External links to cover images cannot be edited.
• Error 401 occurs after an upload of a SCORM package is canceled and the second upload attempt is initiated. The page refresh is necessary to initiate the upload.
• Settings applied for a specific SCORM version are not appropriately distinguished.
• The "Not found" text is displayed when a learner attempts to start a quiz with a due date in the past.
• The Customize default view setting does not apply to the Collections filter.
• Saving the default view doesn't work when creating a new custom report.
