In this release, we introduced new quiz question display modes in Assess that give instructors greater control over how assessments are presented to learners, including support for one-question-at-a-time exams with optional backtracking restrictions. We also continued improving Groups integration by migrating Classroom links to the new Groups interface for eligible tenants.
In addition, we are continuing work on several initiatives planned for future releases, including improvements to the Unified Compose authoring experience (future Prism application), AI grading integration, learner interface redesigns, reporting capabilities, and selected SIS integrations.
Instructors can now configure how questions are displayed to learners during quizzes. Three display modes are available:
These options are particularly useful for high-stakes assessments where instructors need tighter control over question visibility and navigation. Answers are automatically saved as learners progress, and the countdown timer, if enabled, remains visible throughout the exam.
For tenants with a Groups license, Classroom links are being migrated to the new Groups interface. When learners select Rooms in the sidebar, they are redirected to the /groups/rooms page, where they can access the updated Groups collaboration features. This change supports a smooth transition to the new Groups experience while preserving compatibility for tenants without the license.
