Overview

In this release, we’ve made progress on integrating the Advancity and Constructor products into the platform. We continued preparing the user interface for the upcoming design migration, introduced foundational support for catalog categories, improved the behavior of the AI Tutor widget, and resolved several important bugs.

Improvements

AI Tutor widget visibility logic update

The AI Tutor widget is now hidden in courses that users cannot access, ensuring a cleaner and more consistent experience. This includes:

• Courses in Archive or Draft states.
• Courses unavailable due to enrollment date restrictions.
• Courses restricted from starting or reviewing based on enrollment settings.
• Courses where Allow review after completion is disabled.

Catalog categories availability

A new configuration option is now available in tenant settings, allowing administrators to manage Catalog Categories. These categories include attributes that will support filtering in My Courses and Catalog views in upcoming updates.

Fixes

We've made the following fixes:

• Allowed additional time to be granted to learners in proctored activities.
• Fixed error 500 when starting a discussion.
• Fixed missing Graded by and Approved by fields in assessments.
• Fixed a bug where the “You can improve” pop-up was not displayed for some incomplete activities.
• Fixed excessive redirects when launching proctored courses.
• Fixed an issue where users couldn’t continue proctored activities correctly after starting them as non-proctored.

Known issues

• The "You can improve your score" pop-up appears when a graded activity is present on the page and the user navigates to the next page without starting it.
• The Start from option for a video activity is displayed even if the specified date is in the past.
• When instructors select Show answers when score is reached and Allow review for an assignment, the score is not shown, but the quiz feedback is.
• The grace period is not applied to child compositions within other child compositions.
• Sizes of attached files are shown only for newly-uploaded files.
• A new toggle cannot be created within a toggle.
• New members cannot be added to a newly created team without refreshing the screen.
• The date and time selector sometimes does not fit on the screen in Reports.
• When signing out from Avatar, a user is not signed out from LMS.
• External links to cover images cannot be edited.
• Error 401 occurs after an upload of a SCORM package is canceled and the second upload attempt is initiated. The page refresh is necessary to initiate the upload.
• Settings applied for a specific SCORM version are not appropriately distinguished.
• The "Not found" text is displayed when a learner attempts to start a quiz with a due date in the past.
• The Customize Default View setting does not apply to the Collections filter.
• Saving the default view doesn't work when creating a new custom report.
