Overview

In this release, we’ve focused on enhancing the composition and text editor, while also improving backend performance to make the system faster and more responsive.

Improvements

We have redesigned the course Table of Contents to provide learners with clearer progress tracking:

• Course-wide and individual activity progress are now displayed.
• Course due dates help learners manage deadlines.
• Activities are marked as Not Started, In Progress, or Completed.
• Failed gated activities are clearly shown.

We've also introduced several enhancements in the composition and text editors:

• Media block content is now editable directly in the composition editor.
• Activities can be renamed by double-clicking their name in the composition tree.
• Resizable panes allow for better workspace customization.
• Warning, Quote, and Instructor blocks now fully support formatting and links.
• Users can set a custom file name when uploading attachments.

Fixes

We've made the following fixes:

• The Enroll everyone option now works correctly when availability dates change, and direct links open properly for all users with course access.
• Certificates are now correctly assigned to completed courses, even if learners were enrolled using the Enroll everyone option.
• The former Author role has been renamed Global Content Reviewer and no longer includes editing permissions to avoid confusion. To enable editing, users must be assigned the Contributor or Lead role within the team scope.
• Courses with expired availability dates can now be reviewed without issues, and correct messages about availability are displayed on the course page.
• Quizzes with proctoring enabled now always start in proctoring mode.
• When a media block is saved, the correct timestamp is always displayed.
• Formatting changes in a media block are now automatically saved.
• Issues where text disappeared or didn’t wrap correctly when changes were applied to an image have been fixed.

Known issues

• When instructors select Show answers when score is reached and Allow review for an assignment, the score is not shown, but the quiz feedback is.
• The grace period is not applied to child compositions within other child compositions.
• Sizes of attached files are shown only for newly-uploaded files.
• A new toggle cannot be created within a toggle.
• New members cannot be added to a newly created team without refreshing the screen.
• The date and time selector sometimes does not fit on the screen in Reports.
• When signing out from Avatar, a user is not signed out from LMS.
• External links to cover images cannot be edited.
• Error 401 occurs after an upload of a SCORM package is canceled and the second upload attempt is initiated. The page refresh is necessary to initiate the upload.
• Settings applied for a specific SCORM version are not appropriately distinguished.
• The "Not found" text is displayed when a learner attempts to start a quiz with a due date in the past.
• The Customize Default View setting does not apply to the Collections filter.
• Saving the default view doesn't work when creating a new custom report.
