Release 97
In Release 97, we've introduced these new features to facilitate the implementation of certificates for courses and creation of an Open Catalog for non-authorized users:
Additionally, we have implemented several fixes and improvements to enhance user experience.
Master-data administrators can now manage certificate templates using a dedicated editor. This editor includes essential tools for generating downloadable and viewable certificates. Master-data administrators can add text placeholders, format text, import JPEG or other graphic files for backgrounds, and work with layers and layouts to create comprehensive learning records.
Instructors or administrators can now select a pre-created certificate template for a specific course (objective). Upon successful completion of the course and meeting the required criteria, learners are awarded the designated certificate. This certificate includes details such as the learner’s name, course code, validity period, and any other data specified in the certificate template.
When learners complete a course (objective) with an assigned certificate and meet the required conditions, they receive a certificate. Learners can view their current results and preview the certificate on the About the course page. Certificates are downloadable as PDFs. Additionally, learners can share with all users, including non-registered ones, the page with the results and downloadable certificate.
We've introduced the Open Catalog feature, which allows selected courses to be publicly viewed via an open API. Instructors can now designate these courses and create an enrollment rule for a special Open Catalog unit. The Open Catalog page organizes these courses into a catalog format, which enables users to browse this catalog, view course details, and choose courses of interest. Upon selecting a course, users can start it after signing up as authorized users.
