Adding an LTI tool

1. Log in to Blackboard as admin.

2. Open System Admin > LTI Tool Providers.

3. Click Register LTI 1.3.

4. Click 3/Advantage Tool.

5. Enter {YourClientID} in the Client ID field and click Submit:
   

6. In the new window, copy the Deployment ID and send it to the Constructor support service together with the Blackboard URL of your organization:
   

7. Ensure that:

   • Tool Status was set to Approved
   • User Fields to Send has Role in Course, Name, Email Address enabled.

8. Сlick Submit.
