Prerequisites for Moodle integration ​

The prerequisited for Moodle integration are as follows:

  • Moodle Version: the Constructor Proctor plugin supports all Moodle versions from 3.8 onwards. To check your Moodle version, go to Moodle > Site Administration > Notifications and scroll to the bottom of the page:

  • Open Moodle > Site Administration > Security > HTTP Security and make sure the following parameters are enabled:

    • Allow frame embedding
    • Secure cookies only

  • SSL Certificate: for the integration to work, your Moodle domain needs to have a valid SSL certificate, which means it must be accessible over HTTPS. You can obtain a free SSL certificate from https://letsencrypt.org/ or https://greenlock.domains/.

InformationIMPORTANT: The Proctor Moodle Plugin does not work with MoodleCloud sites. If your organization uses MoodleCloud to host the Moodle site, use Moodle LTI integration instead.
