Prerequisites for Moodle integration through LTI ​

The prerequisited for Moodle integration through LTI are as follows:

  • (Mandatory) The Moodle domain must be accessible via HTTPS and have a valid SSL certificate.
  • (Recommended) The LMS server should configure its cookies with the following cross-site attributes: SameSite=None and Secure=True. This ensures seamless user authentication.
  • (Optional) Your Moodle LMS can be hosted on your organization's server. The hosting location impacts the student experience:
    • On-premise Moodle: This setup allows the LMS to be embedded in an iframe, enabling examinees to take proctored exams on a desktop using Google Chrome without needing to install the Constructor Secure browser.

You need to be logged into Moodle as an Admin to set up the integration.
