Adding content categories to compositions

You can add content category labels to a composition that represent a course, program or other assignment. These labels will be displayed in the learners' course catalog, helping them to filter the courses they need. Content categories can also include subcategories, which helps you to organize courses or programs hierarchically.

To add a content category to a composition:

1. In the Learn management portal, click in the upper-left corner.
2. Go to Authoring > Content libraries.
3. Click Compositions.
4. Double-click the required composition to open it.
5. Click the Properties icon.
   
6. Scroll to the Categories section and select the required categories.
7. Click Save and go to content editor. The composition will be added to the selected categories.
