Configuring timed exams

A timed exam is an exam that learners should pass in a limited amount of time.

You can set the duration of your exam in two ways:

• In the exam quiz advanced settings that are common for all learners who takes this exam. See Setting up quizzes duration.
  
• Individually for a particular learner when enrolling the learner for the exam assignment. See Enrolling users for objectives.

  Note: If two different durations are specified in the exam quiz settings and in the learner enrollment settings, the shortest duration applies to the exam.
