Adding videos in Vimeo

To add a video to a source folder in Vimeo, follow the instructions in the Vimeo documentation: "How to upload a video to Vimeo" and other articles in "Uploading basics" at the official site.

The supported file formats are MP4, MOV, WMV, AVI, and FLV.

While uploading videos, take into account the following:

• Videos are available for adding to courses and preview in LMS only after they are fully processed in Vimeo, which may take up to 30 minutes for longer videos.
• In the LMS Vimeo library, videos that are not yet available have the Draft status, while available videos are labeled as Ready.
• A video is displayed on the Properties tab in the video editing mode in LMS only after it is fully processed both in LMS and Vimeo. You can track the video processing progress on the Vimeo side. Once Vimeo completes processing, refresh the Properties page in LMS to view the video.
