Setting activities as mandatory or optional

Constructor LMS allows you to flexibly configure how learners should take the activities of a course. By default, all activities are mandatory, but you can designate certain activities as optional. To set an activity as optional:

1. In the LMS management portal, click in the upper-left corner.
2. Go to Authoring > Content libraries.
3. Click Compositions.
4. Click the required composition to open it.
5. Click Go to editor.
6. In the leftmost bar, click the Content flow icon  to switch to the Content flow configuration tab.
7. In the table of the course activities, find the activity you need to make optional and select the respective checkbox in the Optional column.

The marked activity will not be required to complete the course that the objective represents, and learners will be able to skip it.
