Making courses available for learners’ self-enrollment

You can make a course available for learners to self-enroll in it. For example, you may need to do it for optional courses that learners can select themselves.

To do it:

1. Select what type of course you want to edit (for individual learners, a group, or unit) as described in Editing learner enrollments.
2. Expand the Additional settings section, clear the Mandatory checkbox and select Show in catalog.
3. Click Save. The course will be added to the catalog of courses available for self-enrollment to the selected learner or group of learners. (The automatic enrollment will not be applied to the course.)
