Creating questions
You can create questions of different types in Constructor Learn. All questions that you create are stored in the question bank. You can use questions from this bank to compile various quizzes.
Constructor Learn supports the following types of questions to compile quizzes for assessing learners' knowledge:
- Multiple answerquestions in which a learner selects more than one correct option from a list of given answers. Such questions are automatically assessed after learners submit their answers.
- Multiple choice questions in which a learner selects one correct option from a list of given answers. Such questions are automatically assessed after learners submit their answers.
- Short answerquestions in which a learner enters a short text (for example, a number, or a particular word or phrase). Such questions are also automatically assessed. After learners submit their answers, answers are compared against the correct values stored in the application database.
- Free format response questions in which a learner enters a long text (for example, an essay or a page with a solution to a problem). Such questions do not have given answers and require manual assessment by an instructor or teaching assistant.
- Matching questions in which a learner matches pairs of statements. Such questions are automatically assessed after learners submit their answers.
- Ordering questions in which a learner places provided answers in the correct order. Such questions are automatically assessed after learners submit their answers.
- Fill in the blanks questions in which a learner enters the correct words or phrases in the blank spaces to complete the sentence accurately.
- True or false (Kprime) question in which a learner needs to indicate whether each statement is true (Yes) or false (No).
| Information | Constructor Learn supports entering complex math formulas. To enter such formulas, use the LaTeX notation. |
